Pesh Kabz MkII

My rendition of a classic design.

9" Overall, 4.75" Blade
1/4" O1 carbon tool steel 58-60rc
Amber micarta grips, brass pins
Etched & tumbled finish
9oz black leather sheath

The blade is hollow ground using a small 5" wheel producing a very tight deep grind imitating the t-spine of a pesh kabz, following the original intentions of this design the tip is also ground thick but honed to a sharp needle point. Grips are of amber micarta, giving it the look of aged ivory but with more colour, stability and durability. Handle is contoured with a slight palm swell and left unpolished for a secure grip. Brass pins.

Leather has a subtle two tone finish with the edges being a dark cordovan and the main body black with a slight shade of blue. Four layers of 4mm thick veg tan with a tapered welt for a slim profile and tight fit. Coated with Fiebings's CH-42 leather sheen inside to prevent any corrosion to the blade. Outside has had multiple coats of neatsfoot oil applied with a final layer of carnuaba creme wax. Handstitched with black polyester tiger thread. Brass sam browne stud located for strong side carry (RH).
